The architects took great care to position the house at a 
level which takes advantage of these views. 
The external materials for walls and 

the roof were predetermined by the local planning authorities. 

The floor-plan is therefore very flexible, accentuated by a central 
spine of services and cupboards, both relating to the exposed 
butterfly from of the roof.
