Federico Garcia Lorca Center Granada

The architects responded to Garcia Lorca’s emblematic 

cultural status, and the architectural possibilities that such 

a center can entail by creating a translucent building, 
an ambiguous structure that reveals mere glimpses 
of what goes on inside and inspires the onlooker to want 
more, and to enter this mysterious, fantastic place.

 Inside one finds a dynamic atrium, which provides a route 
through the site as well as a separation between the various 
functions within the building.
