An elementary school
gymnasium connects
two separate parts
of the school
built
in different periods.
The building’s envelope consists of
semi-translucent
panels using silkscreen-colored prints of different
density,
whose colors and the level of translucency
are determined by the functional
zones reflecting
the content of the building.
The gymnasium becomes a light
urban intervention,
attaching two parts of the school with a hall that
connects
all levels into the new public space of the school.
