Description

A new urban space, which acts as a centrepiece within a new mixed use development. The design is based on an extension of the building grid onto the landscape and also the theories of geomorphology. The design of the seating and surrounding retaining wall with wavy turf boundaries reflect this.
Portland stone and granite are predominant surface materials. The lighting columns are strong features along the main Euston Road but the surface lighting is also very effective.
